Condition Monitoring – Special Offer for Wind Turbines
GfM’s Peakanalyzer condition monitoring system has proven itself over many years in the monitoring of wind turbine drive trains. The high accuracy of the diagnoses is the result of the hardware architecture and the algorithms used. High-quality sensors are employed. Vibration signals are recorded at a sampling rate of 50 kHz. This is necessary for a reliable rolling bearing diagnosis. Monitoring is performed via continuous online spectral analysis, and the entire diagnosis is rule-based, so that speed fluctuations have no influence.
In practice, this means that during operation, high-resolution spectra of the vibration signals are generated every few minutes and are fully automatically checked for the presence of significant damage frequencies. This method is far superior to conservative parameter monitoring.
To monitor a typical wind turbine with a gearbox, a condition monitoring system with nine vibration channels is required, consisting of eight standard sensors and one with higher sensitivity. Additionally, a speed sensor is installed. The promotional price for this package is €6,990.00.
To monitor a gearless wind turbine, a condition monitoring system with four vibration channels is required, with two sensors featuring increased sensitivity. A speed sensor is also required here. The promotional price for this package is €5,990.00.
These promotional offers are valid for orders placed by April 30, 2026.
The installation of the condition monitoring system can be easily completed within four hours. No specialized knowledge is required. The monitoring service includes responding to alarms and evaluating indications of potential damage. This takes an average of eight hours per year. If you do not wish to handle this yourself, you can commission us to do so for €1,000.00 per year. The system must be configured once, meaning it must be fed with the kinematic data of the drivetrain and some communication data. This takes no more than two hours, provided all necessary information is available. If GfM is commissioned to provide the monitoring service, configuration is included.
