The reliability of the drive elements on wind turbines has increased significantly in recent decades. In addition, repair management has been improved. Nevertheless, it makes sense to monitor the drives in order to detect damage in the development process and to avoid consequential damage up to and including total system failure. This monitoring is ensured by a powerful condition monitoring system, as offered by GfM with the Peakanalyzer. When developing the systems of GfM, particular importance was attached to high diagnostic reliability and largely automated diagnostics. Both form the basis for detecting irregularities at an early stage while at the same time avoiding false alarms.
In addition to the Peakanalyzer, the online condition monitoring system, GfM offers the mobile diagnostic system PeakStore5. All systems are very powerful and extremely easy to use. Clear user guidance, fixed presettings and, above all, the possibility of automated analysis of vibrations ensure that the operator can make competent diagnoses with only knowledge of mechanical engineering and mechanical drive technology. In addition, all measurements and calculations for operational balancing can be carried out with the PeakStore5 system. Control via a smartphone app is possible for drives that no one is allowed to stay near during operation.
GfM will be presenting its products at booth 5B39 at HUSUM WIND 2023. Interested parties are cordially invited to have the systems demonstrated.
